Bourbon or Whisky?

When a riverside distillery in Kentucky was hit by lightning in 2003, a fire and a flood of burning bourbon resulted, killing thousands of fish.

in that unlikely piscicide
from bourbon on a burning tide
loosed by a sudden thunderbolt.

Some — not I — have cynically cried
at waste of what’s misclassified
as whisky, in Kentucky pride.
Now, had it been a single malt...!

Surely it couldn’t be Sean?
